Hi Meni! I'm so glad you found me. Thanks for your comment. Good luck with the cake decorating. Nance is amazing at it and has made some incredible cakes. I had a knitting blog and then it got hacked so my son helped me start another one. You can see some of my things at theknittingbug.ca I have some photos on the right side panel. I've been knitting for over 25 years and I love it.

I saw your Christmas Tree hats on ravelry and your other blog. I want to make these hats for adults. I saw that you changed the size of the hats by changing size of needles. How big of a needle would you use to make it big enough for an adult? I'm worried tha making the needles bigger would make the hat too "undense." Or would you change the number of stitches and rows? My inital thought was to use the same same size needle as the pattern calls for and add 13 more stitches and do 3 rows between the decreases. What do you think???? I am a knit by the pattern kind of girl, no experience with changing things up. Any help would be appreciated. Kathy O
