In reading your blog and having you say it is beginning to feel like home, I sense it is more peaceful there than here.  You don't say so but it makes me feel that your pace of life is slower and you actually get to enjoy life without being so busy.  Your pictures are really beautiful with the leaves and so much water etc.   You will have to practice your skating so you will be ready to skate on the Rideau Canal when it finally freeezes over.
